Terese is a Chicago native whose "passion for fashion" lead her to pursue her undergraduate degree in Textiles and Clothing.
Her more than 20 years experience in the Fashion Industry, give her a unique insight into the inner-workings of this exciting field. As an instructor for many years at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, specializing in Historic Costume and it's social and psychological impact, she has been able to share her expertise and enthusiasm with a new generation of designers. She serves as Vice-chairman of the Costume Council, an auxiliary of the San Diego Historical Society, a philanthropic group devoted to the preservation of historically significant clothing in San Diego. Terese is the owner of Third Child Studio including subsidiaries Kitchen Kahuna and Friki Tiki Fish were she creates original folk art, photography, culinary apparel, and ornaments.
