Elloise Bennett is proud to join "The Club 4 Me" presenter team.

Formerly from South Africa, Elloise immigrated to the US as a teenager and attended Coronado High School, from which she graduated as Salutatorian and IB Diploma holder. She then went on to study at the University of San Diego, completing a BA in History and a Masters in Teaching History.

In 1999, Elloise returned to her alma-matter and taught English and Social Studies at college preparatory, Honors, Advanced Placement and International Baccallaureate levels. She also served as Social Studies department chair, staff trainer in the field of technology and reading strategies, as well as AP/IB coordinator. She was honored in 2003 as Exceptional Teacher of Reading.

Being an eternal student herself, Elloise returned to study and attended University of London, Royal Holloway College to earn a second Masters degree in European Material Culture. In 2004, Elloise returned to teaching - taking a position as Social Studies teacher in the San Dieguito Union High School District at Torrey Pines High School. In 2005 she was promoted to Assistant Principal.

Elloise believes that her background has provided her exposure to and opportunities to learn not only about the high school environment, content and curriculum, and how to address the needs of diverse student bodies, but also to help guide students in transitory years between middle and high school, as well as high school to college or university. Her passion lies in helping students understand how to navigate the stresses of college acceptance, adolescence, and rigorous content while still enjoying the teenage experience.
